Account Coordinator Mentorship

Are you a new grad or just getting established in your marketing and or communications career? Are you a strong, creative and experienced communicator with a flair for writing, content development and social media? Are you a reliable project manager who can work both independently and as part of a team to get things done well and on time? 

AMA Toronto is looking for a keen and committed volunteer with 1-3 years of experience to join our Mentorship account team. Our Mentorship team runs two highly successful mentoring programs, Mentor Exchange and Career Accelerator. These programs provide mentoring opportunities to approximately 90 mid-level and junior marketers each year. As coordinator, you will report to our Mentorship Account Manager but also work closely with the VP Mentorship and our Marcom team. You will play an important role while enjoying opportunities to learn and grow your leadership potential. It’s a great chance to sharpen your skills while building your resume, your network and having fun! 

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Working with the AMA Mentorship team to help develop and execute internal communications strategies.  
  • Writing copy, coordinating creative and working with the Marcom team to schedule posts for various social media campaigns.
  • Helping the Account Manager Mentorship with other projects or tasks related to the Mentorship portfolio.
  • Working with the Mentorship team to manage event promotions for program events and to cross-promote regular AMA programming events.
  • Creating and managing Eventbrite registration pages.
  • Developing a program PDF template that includes program highlights, FAQs and key dates.
