Director, Content 

Position Objectives : 

Are you a creative storyteller and collaborative business professional with 5 years of experience in Content Marketing? Do you juggle priorities successfully and have the flexibility, bandwidth, and commitment to help implement a team’s plan and participate in AMA Toronto’s programs?

As the Director, Content, you report to the VP of Marketing and Communications, assisting with the execution of a cross-platform content strategy, working closely MarCom team members responsible for social media, email and the website to curate content across all platforms.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Deliver quality content from concept to production (storytelling), including writing blogs, proofreading and editing
  • Research, document, maintain and distribute an updated monthly content calendar within a 4-6 month horizon. Project manage the editorial calendar process by facilitating the process for content identification and alignment across events, membership, sponsorship, and Marcom portfolios. 
  • Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
  • Optimize for search engines and user experience for all channels, including website, social media, email, video, print and in-person.
  • Review web, email and social analytics to ascertain content engagement levels
