Dr. Augustine Fou

Dr. Augustine Fou has been on the front lines of digital marketing for nearly 3 decades. It is from that vantage point that he studied and documented the nexus of cybercrime and ad fraud. As an investigator, Dr. Fou assists government and regulatory bodies; as a consultant he helps clients strengthen cybersecurity, mitigate threats and risks, including the flow of ad dollars that fund further criminal activity, and improve the effectiveness of their digital marketing campaigns.
Dr. Fou was the former Group Chief Digital Officer of Omnicom's Healthcare Consultancy Group, a $100 million group of 8 agencies serving pharma, medical device, and healthcare clients. Dr. Fou also taught digital strategy and integrated marketing at Rutgers University and NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
Dr. Fou completed his PhD at MIT in Materials Science and Engineering at the age of 23. He started his career with McKinsey & Company and previously served as SVP, digital strategy lead at McCann/MRM Worldwide.

With deep expertise in cloud services, software, and business solutions, particularly those incorporating artificial intelligence like Watson. At IBM over 25 years, started career at Procter & Gamble. Chartered Marketer and Chartered Financial Accountant. MBA from McGill and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Manitoba.

Laura Baker is the CMO of Home Hardware Stores Limited. Laura focuses on delivering a compelling omni-channel customer experience, supporting 1,050+ store locations across Canada under four retail banners. She is a member of the executive leadership team supporting the transformational journey of becoming a dealer-owned integrated retailer. She is focused on implementing performance-based marketing analytics to optimize media spending and developing compelling content targeted to younger customers to drive revenue growth and build brand loyalty. Laura recently led the major revamp of loyalty and credit at Home Hardware by joining the Scene+ program and partnering with Scotiabank.
Before joining Home Hardware, Laura was the Head of Marketing for Edward Jones Canada, the senior vice President of Marketing at Sleep Country Canada, and the leader of Digital Marketing at Tim Hortons.
Laura holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University with a minor in Political Science.
Laura lives in the Greater Toronto Area with her two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking, and traveling. She is also a proud hockey mom.

As Senior Vice President, Customer Experience & Chief Marketing Officer, Vivianne Gauci leads HomeEquity Bank’s marketing and customer experience teams. She is also responsible for the evolution of the bank into a customer-centric organization and for driving originations growth by leading award-winning brand and performance marketing. Ms. Gauci joined HomeEquity Bank in 2015 and has over 20 years of experience in marketing, product development, and strategy in financial services. Ms. Gauci has led the creation of several award-winning campaigns, been named a CMP Woman of Influence, and is regularly sought out to speak at industry conferences.

Lisa Bowman is the CEO and Chief Mojo Officer (CMO) of Marketing Mojo; a consultancy that builds for brands at the intersection of Purpose and Profit, where good businesses live. She is also the Founder of INterview; a collective of C- Suite Executives who work to prepare job seekers to level up in their career by providing resume assistance and mock interviews. By background and career, Lisa is a both “Marchitect”, and a “Brandvangelist” who builds stories to convert ideas to action.
Prior to founding her two companies, Lisa most recently served as the global Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for United Way Worldwide; the world’s largest privately funded global non-profit ($4.8B). She led the organization’s marketing, brand, communications and data analytics teams to enable the fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community.
She joined United Way Worldwide from a 15- year career at UPS where she began her career in 2000 as Vice President of Marketing for UPS e-Ventures, the company’s dot-com incubator. In subsequent marketing roles with the logistics company, she led several high-profile marketing initiatives designed to transform UPS from its historical position as a business-to-business entity into business-to-consumer player.
Known as “a leader with a presence”, Lisa has been front and center as the key “face” and the spokesperson for United Way and UPS, in times when both organizations earned accolades and addressed key challenges.
Lisa holds a B.A. in Marketing from Columbia and has completed Executive Education at Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business. She is the Chair of the National Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association having served on the board since 2018 and has held chair roles of the Ethics, Governance and DEI Committees as well as serving on the Audit and Finance and Nominating Committees. Lisa holds several advisory board positions for companies in the Media, FinTech and Social Impact spaces.
In March of 2022, she published her Amazon best-seller, “Harasshole”, detailing her experience with sexual harassment in the workplace.
