Christine Farrugia is the Founder and Principal of CF Coaching and Consulting. She provides Strategic Advisory services to start-ups and small businesses to help them optimize their growth and Executive Coaching to leaders who want a career that has a big impact and makes them excited to get out of bed in the morning. Christine combines her experience and learnings from a 20+ year career as a corporate executive with peak performance coaching to help her clients grow their businesses and their leadership skills and experience.
Christine started her career in consulting, working for KPMG and then moved into industry spending 10 years at Loblaw Companies Ltd in a variety of roles. She worked in M&A and played a key role in Loblaw’s acquisition of Shoppers Drug Mart, then she went on to support the integration of the two companies. From there she co-led the development and launch of the PC Optimum loyalty program where she first got an interest in marketing and customer experience. Christine then went on to build Loblaw’s Customer Centre of Excellence, building up a customer insights function and shifting the culture of the organization to be more customer centric.
After Loblaw, Christine joined Wealtshimple as the VP of Client Strategy and Experience. She led their 300+ person customer service organization, supporting Wealthsimple’s 3M+ clients on a day-to-day basis. In this role she introduced generative AI to improve the client experience and launched new teams to provide a higher-touch experience for their best clients. She also built a voice of the client function to share customer insights with the rest of the organization.
Christine is also the Chair of the Boart of the North York Harvest Food Bank which works to address food insecurity in the city. Christine has an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a BAH in Applied Economics from Queen’s University.
Outside of work, Christine is a mom to 2 amazing kids and she recently became an endurance athlete, completing an endurance hiking event in Idaho.
