The fifth season of AMA Toronto’s Career Accelerator program kicked off with a cocktail reception on Tuesday, April 5th. Mentors and mentees gathered to mingle and meet some of the other participants in the program – a night filled with pizza, wine, beer, and great conversations! The night also included an address from Craig Lund, Secretary & VP Mentorship, to those in-person and who tuned in via Zoom, to officially kick off the program.
Inspired by the success of Mentor Exchange, Career Accelerator is specifically designed to meet the needs of junior marketing professionals looking to move up the ladder in their careers. In its fifth season, the program introduces a new video conferencing platform for mentee/mentor meetings by partnering with Magnifi. Magnifi’s Virtual Office meeting tool creates a unique branded virtual experience for users. You can accept meetings, schedule future meetings, take notes and record meetings, all without leaving your Career Accelerator Virtual Office. Mentors and mentees will receive access to a special Career Accelerator Virtual Office to use for their virtual meetings.
