Andrew Saunders draws on more than 25 years of experience through holding senior
levels positions that include branding, strategic planning & pricing, advertising, data
analytics and customer insights, performance marketing, digital commerce, P& L
responsibility and general management practices.
As Chief Revenue Officer at the Globe and Mail, Andrew Saunders is responsible for
leading the monetization strategy for all lines of business including subscriptions,
advertising, event & conference, marketing and data & analytics. The media portfolio
incudes, Canada’s national newspaper of record, Canada’s number one business
magazine, leading custom publishing business unit, a digital premium Advertising
Network and the Globe and Mail’s mobile and websites.
As an active member in the marketing and advertising community, Andrew has served
on several industry Jury’s including the Media Innovation Awards, Effie’s, Marketing Hall
of Legends along with holding board positions including being the past Chair of the
Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada (IAB) and the Chair of the NADbank
Association. He is currently serving on the executive team on the IAB board of directors,
Chairman of the Canadian Cannes Advisory Board and a board member of the
Advertising Standards of Canada.
