Mentor Exchange has welcomed over 240 mentors to the program over the past 11 years, many of which return to volunteer year over year. With close to 70% of our roster made up of alumni mentors, we have developed clear criteria to fill our vacancies.

Diversity Equity & Inclusion is a core value of AMA Toronto, and we strive to ensure that our mentors reflect the diversity of Canada as well as the career paths within marketing. Our mentors are categorized according to their career path which includes:

Client Savant – Someone who has spent most of their career as a client side marketer/business leader
Agency Savant – Someone who has spent most of their career as an advertising/business leader
Client/Agency Crossover – Someone who has made the leap from being a client or agency side marketer to the opposite side of the table
Educator – Someone who earns their primary living educating at the post-secondary level
Media Savant – Someone who has spent most of their career as a Media leader
