Applying Inclusive Design to Marketing (DEI Series)
MNG : FEB 2023
Marketing is all about people. As humanity, we are all diverse, and diversity means differences. Different people have different needs. Giving everyone the same thing does not help. Recognizing people’s needs and giving them exactly what they need is equity. Enabling equity enhances impact.Shalini Jerath From AMA will facilitate this dynamic and engaging panel discussion where Dr Sam from D2L and Kate Kalcevich from Fable will address the importance of considering diversity and inclusion in marketing and establish how it could benefit both the seller and the buyer. In this increasingly competitive, complex, and uncertain world, inclusion helps us remain centred and find value in doing well by doing good
Intended outcomes for attendees
- Get introduced to inclusive design principles and practice
- Understand how these can be applied to marketing
- Recognize the benefits of inclusive marketing practices
