Lara has 15 years of experience developing B2B marketing strategies, campaigns and tactics at international organizations in professional services, financial services and the packaging industry. She currently leads the national marketing efforts for KPMG in Canada’s Management Consulting business unit.
Originally from Mexico, Lara started her career in the Netherlands producing business events for senior executives in Europe, Asia and North America. After moving to Canada in 2009, she joined PwC where she held various roles including within their Americas’ Mining Centre of Excellence managing regional content marketing initiatives and sponsorships, and with their National Consulting Practice where she led the launch of flagship marketing campaigns, including the firm’s Shift podcast series and the opening of their Toronto Digital Experience Centre. In 2018, she joined the Global Commercial Services division at American Express, where she was responsible for their B2B Content and Events portfolio in Canada and successfully established their Business Trends & Insights content hub, and an experiential events program designed to increase business growth.
Lara holds an MBA in Information Management and BA in Communication. In her spare time, you’ll find her travelling with her husband and two kids, going for nature hikes or having a quiet wine & cheese evening with friends.
