Shalabh brings over 25 years of experience in hospitality at corporate, regional and property levels covering a wide range of functional areas. Prior to joining FRHI Hotels & Resorts corporate office in Toronto, Shalabh worked with Raffles, SwissĂ´tel, InterContinental Hotels Group, Taj and Hyatt. He began his career in hotel operations covering Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing and then held progressive positions at corporate levels in InterContinental Hotels Group, Raffles & SwissĂ´tel Hotels & Resorts covering Economic, Tourism and Competitive data analytics, CRM, Campaign Management, Database Marketing, Revenue Management, Loyalty Marketing, Distribution and Ecommerce.
In his current role as head of Performance Strategy area, Shalabh has initiated & deployed an efficient data-driven culture & analytics capabilities across FRHI. The insights support provided by Shalabh’s team helps stakeholders understand key business drivers & radically increase their ability to make informed decisions, set Goals and drive higher ROI, FRHI Central Brand Delivery and Competitive Share, globally & across business units.
Shalabh is an Executive Scholar from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila. He is a graduate in Hotel Management and post graduate in Hotel Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
