As CEO of Xemoto (the “Xe” is pronounced “Zi”) Media, Virginia is responsible for providing strategic leadership, steering the organization to meet its growth milestones, and spearheading ongoing operations, platform development and expansion of the organization.
Xemoto Media is dedicated to supporting Investor Relations and Public Relations professionals at publicly-traded and pre-IPO companies in North America. Xemoto’s proprietary investor marketing platform advances the way public companies gain access to interested investors on an unprecedented scale.
Prior to joining Xemoto Media, Virginia had her own consultancy firm and was a marketing partner at ELIM5, where she helped leaders grow their business with effective strategic planning, smart marketing strategy and outstanding execution. She has also held numerous senior-level corporate positions, most recently as VP, Marketing and Strategy for ADP and VP, Marketing and Communications for Cogeco Peer 1 (now Aptum), where she contributed to the growth and direction of both companies and was instrumental in increasing revenue through strategy development, the launch of new product suites, and the implementation of award-winning campaigns.
Virginia has extensive experience in both mature and entrepreneurial organizations and proven success in brand, digital and demand-generation marketing as well as strategic planning, communications and product management and she is also skilled at defining and launching services and platform-based solutions that address customer needs.
She has worked across industries such as human capital management, tech, financial services, telecommunications and natural resources.
One last thing: Virginia believes that leadership is a privilege, with an obligation to help others. She mentor marketers through the American Marketing Association, is on the Advisory Board of Women of Influence, and is an advocate for investment in the workplace because to exceed in the marketplace you must first succeed in the workplace.
