Karrie Van Belle is a seasoned business executive and strategic leader with over 25 years expertise across multiple disciplines within marketing and communications including brand and media strategy; corporate communications and public relations; market research and analytics; and martech operations. Through her depth of experience, she can effectively and consistently marry together key marketing and communications concepts with business strategy that promote innovation and accelerate growth plans.
In her prior roles, Karrie has successfully led comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and communications teams and strategies. She is known for building and fostering transformational teams, challenging the status quo and ensuring those around her have the open and transparent environment they need to generate new ideas and realize their potential.
Karrie most recently held the role of Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer at AGF Investments Inc. where she led the relaunch of the firm’s brand and was a strategic driver of its digital transformation agenda, focused on driving efficiencies and enhanced client experiences for the firm. She has gained invaluable and varied experiences through her career having held roles at BlackRock Canada, Saint Elizabeth Health Care and Edward Jones.
Karrie holds a degree in CommunicaÂtions from Simon Fraser University and is currently attending the IVEY Academy at Ivey Business School in pursuit of its Digital Leaders Advanced Impact Certification. She is the Chair of the PortfoÂlio Management Association of Canada’s (PMAC) Marketing and Communications Committee, Chair of the Responsible Investment Association’s (RIA) Public Policy and Advocacy Council (and former Board of Director at the RIA), is a 100 Women in Finance Toronto Chapter Committee member, and volunteers regularly with Junior Achievement Central Ontario.
